چکیده
Francisella philomiragia is a Gram-negative coccobacillus, which very rare human opportunistic pathogen causing pneumonia and systemic infection. It difficult to identify this bacterium through conventional Gram-staining biochemical methods due an amorphous Gram stain appearance after 24 h culture its relatively fastidious slow growth giving weak and/or delayed reactions in tests. often misidentified as other bacteria including Haemophilus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa , or Sphingomonas paucimobilis. False identification may delay the therapy of patients even endanger patient’s life. Here, we report case 34-year-old man with acute lymphoblastic leukemia infected by F. was almost misdiagnosed. This describes our patient To knowledge, first such reported China.

Leuconostoc species are vancomycin-resistant Gram-positive cocci. Infections due to Leuconostoc species have been reported in various immunocompromised patients, but little is known about such infection in patients with hematologic malignancies. We report a case of Leuconostoc infection in a 44-year-old woman with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The patient developed a high fever despite antimicr...
